Work permit is a type of visa offered to skilled professionals.

In order to be selected for such an opportunity, the candidate should meet the requirements of the job outlined by the employer. Once the candidate applies for the position, the employer will evaluate the candidate’s eligibility criteria as well as schedule an interview process. The employer will then make a decision whether they are willing to hire the candidate and issue a job offer to the candidate.
- Candidate will then need to apply for the work permit through Citizenship & Immigration Canada (CIC). The decision of the final outcome of work permit will be made by CIC.
